The Art Renewal Center features 100 artworks by Mary Cassatt. Each image includes the date it was painted, the medium used, the canvas size, and its current location. Additionally, the site features her family relationships, a timeline of her life and artwork, a library, images of Mary herself, and a wonder wall. There is also a 3D Gallery where you can explore her artwork.

In the Classroom
Have students pay particular attention to previous works of art. Ask them what makes Cassatt's paintings Impressionistic. After students have viewed several of Cassatt's paintings, ask them what the themes of her paintings might be (women and children). Create a class Padlet, reviewed here, and enhance student learning by asking small groups to research Mary Cassatt and decide on the five most interesting facts about her life.
