InterMath provides lesson plans, quick math activities, standards, definitions of various math concepts, and other math resources. The general math topics include algebra, geometry, number concept, and data analysis. Each general topic also includes numerous recommended investigations, plus additional investigations, Georgia standards, and national math standards. There is also an excellent math dictionary. Support links include explanations of how to do some of the activities in Geometer’s Sketchpad, as well.
In the Classroom
Get an interactive whiteboard and project the math investigations on a screen. Be sure to check out the "constructionary." Allow the students to try to figure out the answers independently at their desks or have them work on individual or partner computers.
