This extensive website provides lesson plans that focus on 6 Trait Writing. The lesson plans are broken down by grade levels (1-3, 4-5, 6-8, and 9-12). You are able to search the lesson plans by grade level AND the specific trait. There are lesson plans about <i> ideas, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions </i>. Most of the lesson plans contain many components, such as books to use in the lesson, printable worksheets, class activities, and much more. Many of the lesson plans involve writing across the curriculum and include social studies, science topics, and other subject areas.
