Since September 11, 2001, terrorism has been an ever-present topic in current events discussions. rnThis lesson plan addresses the question of how to stop international terrorism. After preparing a timeline of recent terrorist activities, students examine characteristics of terrorist groups, research the efforts of various organizations who are working to eliminate terrorism, and develop recommendations for possible solutions. Aligned to National Standards.
