This site purports to have all things Robert: poetry, history, commentary. Some of the content may be a bit steep for students, but this is a very complete collection of information about one of Scotland’s finest.
In the Classroom
Save this site as a favorite and use it as a learning center or station during a unit on the 18th century in Europe, or specifically Scotland. Teachers can either select specific poems students can analyze or have students peruse and find their own. A site like this could be used in a history classroom in a discussion of the culture and life at the time, or in a Language Arts class during a study of poetry.
