This site from Mental Health Net offers basic information on suicide in adults and young people, along with a long list of resources for help and guidance. Mental Health Net also maintains an on-line listing of treatment centers.
In the Classroom
The most useful resource on this site would be the list of resources that offer help to someone suffering from suicidal thoughts. Share the resources with students during a health class on the interactive whiteboard or projector. While a student suffering from these thoughts won’t jump up and thank you, having the information can only benefit them.
