Shape Sudoku will engage even the youngest of Sudoku players by using shapes rather than the traditional numbers. This option is helpful for students who may not be completely comfortable with number recognition but enjoy playing games of logic. Shape Sudoku is a great training tool for beginners entering the world of Sudoku. Students must be familiar with basic shapes such as circle, square, rectangle, triangle, diamond, oval, octagon, and pentagon. Baffled players can be given hints as needed.
